Summer is almost over and a new season is about to come. What used to be just a calming sea in front of me starts to change. The sky starts to grow darker. The wind blows colder. It isn’t the same as before. And I thought of this. Will the sun still shine when it rains? I know it’s about to rain. How will I enjoy the sun in the rain? When my heart rains? I used to look forward to what is about to come in front of me when I look at the vastness of the ocean. But now the seasons changed, the waves changed my ship is not coming back. And the view of the ocean is enough but I think I won’t be waiting on the line. I won’t be expectant. I will just get by. The sun will still turn up no matter what. If not, I’ll be doomed as seasons pass by. I’ll be happy and contented. I am happy and moving forward. And this, I am saying goodbye. I’m saying goodbye to what I hoped for is for me. I’m saying goodbye to the things I regret not saying, not giving, not done, and the things I did otherwise. I’m saying goodbye for waiting too much and allowing the water in only to sink my ship. I’m saying goodbye for who I was when it happened. A new wave is coming and I must be ready to sail again. I will not hold on. I will not wait. I will go. Just I always am, before tidal waves and hurricane happen. I am better off at the sea than at the shoreline looking at it.
