Today, I’ve decided to do an inspiration blog post. (Hope I can commit to doing so every day.) I’ll try my best to post every day since I wanted to share something that inspired me every day, or something I am thankful for.
And for my first inspo blog post today, I am thankful for another year at my work. It was a challenge for the last 3 years that I am job-hopping because of a conflict with the school I graduated my degree to release my official documents. I wasn’t able to get into a job I wanted or I hoped to get into the least because those documents were essentially required to apply. This job so far was the longest tenure that I have been to. I’m not just blessed with the company that I am in, and the position that I have, but also with the people I work with and the most is the lessons it taught me. The kind of lessons you will not learn at school. I may be refreshed with all the theories in every book I had read and what was taught but I was able to appreciate it more in my work right now. All the more I don’t want to make a career change.
Nowadays finding a job seems hard. Or rather, getting in a job you want or need isn’t easy as it finding a job. The unemployment rate in different countries all over the world can speak for itself. How being unemployed too greatly affects our economic status. Not everyone is privileged to even finish a degree and land on a decent job. And not everyone who has a degree landed on a job they desired. And not everyone who is working is happy, satisfied or contented with the job they have or the company that they are working. I cannot compare my job to anyone because we all give our best to find our means to survive.
I do hope in any way whether we love our jobs or not (but may we learn to love it if not) we will find something to be thankful for with our jobs. It isn’t easy especially if it’s hard to find one, but learn to be thankful, again, in any way you can.
Fighting!
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
