There are moments when you are too excited about the things coming your way. A new project, a new job, family/friends reunions, upcoming travel, and so on. Or may it be a plan or goal you are about to achieve? When you ought to think about how precious it is to live in the ‘now’ regardless of what is coming, there will still be moments of waiting. And in that waiting cultivates an attitude of patience and gratitude as well.

In moments like this, on this spot where I wait. Is where and what I used to enjoy with a company. But at times your friends failed to show up or having yourself a partner to share certain moments also is amiss. You sit down around the corner and allow yourself immerse in time. Just then, you realize that in these moments of waiting, you find the joy of having yourself as your own company. Maybe it’s just me or what. Sometimes we think that waiting hinders what is about to come. But in the world we live in right now where everybody is expectant for the good things that are coming, though it isn’t bad, sometimes we miss the point why these things aren’t there yet. I realized that I need more moments like these where I spend time with myself. The kind of moments you find simple joys and contentment. The kind of moments wherein you enjoy eating your favorite dessert and drinking your coffee. The kind of moments where you overcome what you fear the most. The kind of moments you don’t care what other people might think of you, or should you care about them. The kind of moments where you don’t think about waiting, or how long will it take, or when will it come. The kind of moments where you just live in the moment. And the kind of moments where you find yourself, love. So wait. There is no fast forward button in life.
