Growing up being exposed to different kinds of relationship statuses, it is confusing if not misleading, sometimes when you believe in different people’s principles in life when it comes to relationships. Marriage, to be precise, is the most important relationship any human can have (as the preacher said) and sadly, it’s sanctity and definition has been tainted by the world’s ego-feeding meanings. I am not married so to speak about this, but I’m sharing my thoughts with you. I have witnessed a couple dedicated to their relationship as husband and wife, renewed their vows for each other after a decade of being married. I don’t know much what it’s like to be one, the husband or the wife, because I am not one. But I can be one.
Commitment is a strong word to people who are taking their relationship seriously – even when you are single, yet. Even friendships have commitment. Work does have commitment. Even buying online with COD payment is commitment. And trust goes along with it. What inspired me the most all throughout their celebration is not how well they have prepared for everything for the occasion but their attitude and dedication that says, “this is for my marriage” or “this is for my spouse” or “because I love my spouse and my marriage”. Their commitment and trust are unbreakable and just the thought of renewing your commitment to your marriage once again, is a big deal -no, a bigger deal. May all the single men and women all across the world find that strong will to be committed to whatever you do in whatever relationship that you can have. Find that strength within you that says “I do this because I made a commitment”.
